What is the Aprilia Certificate of Conformity?

The Aprilia Certificate of Conformity (COC) is the official document issued directly by Aprilia confirming that your motorcycle complies with all applicable EU type-approval regulations. It is required by registration authorities across all 27 EU member states when registering an imported motorcycle for the first time or re-registering it after a cross-border purchase.

You need an Aprilia COC when importing your motorcycle from another EU country and registering it locally, when your original COC has been lost or damaged, or when national authorities request proof of EU type-approval compliance. Without this document, motorcycle registration is not possible in most EU countries.
